PROFILE

Hailund Praseuth is the visionary CEO and president of EastWest Advantage Consulting. She was recognized as one of the top sales performers by the Tourism Industry in 2004 and 2005. She brings with her over fifteen years’ experience in both North America and in the Asia-Pacific region doing international business consulting, management, training, research and development, sales and marketing, database and operational management, and commodity trading. Hailund speaks Mandarin, Thai, English and French. She earned her Business Degree from Simon Fraser University with specializations in Marketing, International Business, and Human Resource Management. She participated in an international exchange program to Jilin University located in China and earned a degree in Asian Studies, specializing in Chinese Studies. In addition to her past studies, Hailund has traveled, worked and lived in China and other Asian countries. She has utilized her multiple language skills and management skills to successfully negotiate and win contracts for medium-sized to large corporations. Industries she has worked with include: tourism, retail, consulting, liquor, software, education, training, agriculture, commodities, import and export, government, and non-profit organizations.

Hailund has held many positions during her career. During her time with the software industry, Hailund and her team had the privilege to do consulting work for high-profile technology companies such as Microsoft, Business Objects, SAP, Crystal Decisions, Hyperion Solutions, MIS AG, Alterian, Sequiter, and Unify Corporation. She was a former XML for Analysis council member and played a pivotal role in hosting the Simba InterOperate 2002 conference.  Hailund is currently on the Board of Directors of International Entrepreneur Vision, and is the Vice President of Marketing of Tennis Circles. She was also a former Vice President-External of the Simon Fraser University International Business Association.

Hailund’s passion is in transforming vision into profitable and sustainable realities and advocating training and international business as a way to maximize clients’ potential. EastWest Advantage Consulting provides consultation services and training to entrepreneurs, to leaders of corporations, to leaders of non-profit organizations and to the government. The cross-cultural training provides her clients a better understanding of foreign culture in North America and abroad that helps them to compete effectively in the Asia-Pacific market.
